Day 6: Don't Forget to Poo

So last night after dinner at approximately 6:30pm I went for my run in the tiny, but peaceful town of Dalkeith with my brother-in-law. It was different than running with my future sister-in-law, Kaytlyn, because Sam is much taller than us, so he had to run very slow, or run ahead of me. But that was fine, because it gave me time to worship God and ask Him to lend me His legs so that I could finish my run! Of coarse, He did. I finished my run, feeling amazing, with lot's of energy.

So just a little peice of advice, don't forget to poo before going out for your run. This was a valuable lesson I learned last night. Especially if you are running with someone of the opposite sex, or someone you just don't know very well, because if you find yourself needing to poo in the middle of your run, there is nothing to do but try to run faster while clenching your cheeks together, which is not an easy feat. After all, what are you supposed to say? "There's something shiny behind that bush, you stay here and I'll go check it out, it could be dangerous." If you've never had this happen to you, you may feel that this story is gross and unnecessary however, if you have experienced this before, you are probaby laughing at me. I know there are at least two lovely ladies out there who know what I'm talking about, but I will spare their embarrasement.

Today is my second rest day and although I am enjoying it, it is a bittersweet enjoyment because I know that tomorrow's run will be longer and harder. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me... even run while gophering.
